Arial font is the most widely used font for Personal as well as commercial use. The design of Arial MT Black font is best for formal and informal usage because it is neither too stylish nor too simple. When you should use Arial Font?
Arial MT Black or Arial Black Font is appropriate to use where Style of text doesn't matter a major factor. Like if you are writing your School/College Homework or making an assignment or creating an email for your business, the style of text should be moderate. And these are the places where you can use Arial font.
When NOT TO USE Arial Font?
It is true that Arial supports PostScript Feature (Arial MT) and also it's a printable font but I don't recommend you for printing design work with this font. If you are a designer then you will agree with me here. If you still want to print design works, then use Helvetica pr Myriad Pro font and both of these fonts look a lot better when printed.
You can decide according to your need which typeface you have to use because it differs from type to type of documents.
